Jalil H. Saber Zaimian 

born on April 10 in Rasht, Iran. Attended the technical college towards building construction, Rasht. Studied architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna / Austria, master school Univ.Prof.Mag.Arch. Gustav Peichl. Doctorate at the University of Technology Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

Research work for an urban development project in Chennai, South India. Design and execution of a residential building with a combined dance studio in Chennai/South India. Employee in the office Arch. Dieter Scheimpflug, Prof. Arch. Viktor Hufnagl on assignment for residential buildings, terraced houses, kindergartens, hotels and other buildings. Worked as a project manager at several architecture offices in Vienna.

Scholarship from the Austrian Ministry of Science and the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna, for a research project on the "White Village" by Arch. Dudok in Eindhoven, Netherlands 1993.

1992 to 1994 lecturer at the Vienna University of Technology, Institute for Housing with o.Univ.Prof. Reinhard Gieselmann.

1996-97 Institute for Spatial Planning with o.Univ.Prof. Justus Dahinden.

2014-2015 lecturer at the University of Art in Linz, Austria.

Since 1995 architect at the University of Vienna. As part of this activity, he was involved in the conversion of the Old General Hospital into a university campus. This very extensive work also gave rise to his dissertation "A model for structural transformation".

Project manager for new measures for the barrier-free design of the University of Vienna.

Participation in various national and international competitions, e.g. at the Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts, New Delhi, 1986, urban renewal concept for Grieskirchen Upper Austria, House of the Future Graz, as well as at the architecture congresses „Beyond Sustainability“, Eindhoven 2000, and Safe and Healthy University, Dresden 2013.

Member of the Chamber of Architects in Berlin , Germany and the Stichting Bureau Architectenregister, The Hague, The Netherlands. Board member of the Austrian Indian Association, Vienna.

Awards: Medal for the work to realise the University Campus AAKH awarded by the Rector Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Greisenegger, 1999. Award of the honorary title Senator h.c. through the Platform for International Understanding (Plattform für Völkerverständigung) 2017.
